Prototyped Live at Glasgow’s Sole Bloc sneaker festival the Skye Munky is available now.
Armed with the last hide of Premium Sky Blue Reverse Suede in Italy! I travelled to Glasgow’s premier Sneaker and Lifestyle festival to hand craft this prototype live over two days. Similar to my recent Cement Munky and taking design cues from traditional handcraft, vintage footwear and classic sneakers, each pair made will be hand crafted to order from Premium Double Butt Reverse Suede (thick, luxurious and with a full grain reverse side) and Double Butt Suede Velour lined mudguard.
If you prefer, you can swap the yellow mudguard for School Grey or Light Grey or reverse the Sky Blue for smooth sided mudguard. I am always open to switching things up a bit to make something special, so many options are available on request. The Mudguard is finished with a hand stitched thread in Silver Grey. The sole and internal heel cup made from vegetable tanned leather. Insoles made from soft foam and covered in leather. The silhouette is built on the classic adidas Samba last shape and a brand new Vibram sole unit will be fitted to each.
